Short order cook — Laurens County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a short order cook in Laurens County, South Carolina. You will work in a hotel kitchen. Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies You will plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; prepare the mise en place before each service; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes.
