We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Outagamie County, Wisconsin. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
