Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Pierce County, Nebraska. The role involves: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
