Great opportunity: semi-automatic welder (Bauchi State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Darazo, Bauchi State. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 5+ years on the tools preferred.
