Trowel-trade bricklayer — Ferry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Ferry County, Washington. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks 3+ years on the tools preferred.
