Punch press operator wanted in Woodbury County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a punch press operator in Woodbury County, Iowa. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Day to day you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings.
