Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Juneau County, Wisconsin. On a typical shift you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Rotating shifts.
