CO2 welder — Kumbotso

Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Kumbotso, Kano State. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. You will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
