Shakeout operator wanted in Bent County

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Bent County, Colorado. You will work at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Rotating shifts.
