Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Pierce County, North Dakota. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day to day you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle.
