Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Union County, Georgia. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 3+ years on the tools preferred.
