Offshore rigger wanted in Sitka City and Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. On the job you will handle: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
