Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Porter County, Indiana. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine On the job you will handle: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
