Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Oldham County, Kentucky. You will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
