Vacancy available: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Orange County, Vermont. The job is in a hotel kitchen. You will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; prepare the mise en place before each service; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking 4+ years on the tools preferred.
