Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Callahan County, Texas. You will work on a quarry floor. What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day to day you will operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle.
