We are recruiting: tower crane operator (New York)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Essex County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 1+ years on the tools preferred.
