Stone mason — Iberville Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stone mason in Iberville Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a hotel and villa renovation project. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Day to day you will fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; work from cutting lists and installation drawings. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
