Vacancy available: reinforcement steel fixer (Louisiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 5+ years on the tools preferred.
