Gas commissioning technician • Sharkey County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Sharkey County, Mississippi. You will work in a gas distribution network. Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
