Mechanical press operator wanted in Caerphilly County Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Caerphilly County Borough, Wales. You will work on the press shop floor. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day to day you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
