Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Colfax County, New Mexico. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
