We are recruiting: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Lamar County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings Requirements: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam 6+ years on the tools preferred.
