Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Pike County, Kentucky. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Part-time with flexible hours. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
