JCB operator • Elkhart County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a JCB operator in Elkhart County, Indiana. You will be based in an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Rotating shifts.
