Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality checker in Alleghany County, Virginia. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection The role involves segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
