Shuttering carpenter • Barren County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Barren County, Kentucky. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Day to day you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
