Foundry operative • Story County, Iowa

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Story County, Iowa. You will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
