Now hiring: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Southampton, England. You will work on residential and commercial sites. Day to day you will insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator; braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them. Requirements: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests Part-time with flexible hours.
