Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Tuolumne County, California. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves run first-off inspection and sign off the part; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; load and index turning tools in the turret. You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
