Join our team: we are hiring a site carpenter in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. What we are looking for: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists On the job you will handle: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
