Vacancy available: acoustic insulation fitter (Yobe State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Fika, Yobe State. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. On a typical shift you will carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Working-at-height certificate an advantage At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
