Gas commissioning technician — Henderson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Henderson County, Tennessee. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Day-to-day duties: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
