We are recruiting: gas pipeline fitter (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Meigs County, Tennessee. You will be based in a gas distribution network. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches You will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes.
