Confectioner — Prince Edward County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Prince Edward County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; score the top of loaves before baking; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 6+ years on the tools preferred.
