Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Louisa County, Iowa. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Your main tasks: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness 4+ years on the tools preferred. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
