We are recruiting: we are hiring a gardener in Jackson County, Tennessee. You will work at a landscaping company. Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Your main tasks: • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds Six days a week, one day off.
