Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Faskari, Katsina State. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day to day you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 5+ years on the tools preferred.
