Brickwork mason wanted in Henry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Henry County, Alabama. You will be based at a residential building site. Day to day you will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Full-time, day shift.
