Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Nassau County, New York. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Your main tasks: • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris Full-time with occasional weekends.
