Great opportunity: heavy equipment operator (Alaska)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a stone quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
