Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Jersey County, Illinois. You will work at a garment factory. On a typical shift you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
