Immediate opening: gantry crane operator (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Madison County, North Carolina. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
