Slinger signaller wanted in Brewster County

Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Brewster County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 6+ years on the tools preferred.
