Urgent requirement: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in City of Newport News, Virginia. Day to day you will fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Six days a week, one day off.
