GTAW welder — Houghton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Houghton County, Michigan. You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off.
