Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Rowan County, North Carolina. The job is on a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level. You should have: • Own basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience.
