Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Lake County, Illinois. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
