Finishing presser • Tama County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Tama County, Iowa. The role involves: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
