Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Garfield County, Montana. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Overtime paid at a premium rate.
